Conferencing & Banqueting / Duty Manager

We are seeking a hands on Conference & Banqueting Manager to join our professional team. The Morritt Country House Hotel has an extensive banqueting suite in which we hold weddings, events and conferences.

Duties will include:

o Planning of events with the assistance of the team

o Running of events – weddings, celebrations, conferences, etc.

o General hospitality operations – including food & beverage service, checking guests in & out of hotel

o Shift responsibility, staff supervision & staff training

The ideal candidate:

o Previous experience in a similar role/establishment is essential

oExcellent customer service skills are essential

o Full Morritt training will be given

Wedding Coordinator / Receptionist

We are seeking a hands on Wedding Coordinator / Receptionist to join our professional team. The Morritt Country House Hotel has hosted over 1000 weddings and makes brides dreams come true.

Duties will include:

o To design and deliver wedding fairs within the hotel, showcasing the venue and products that we have to offer.

o To provide full administration support from the point of booking through to client/guest arrival.

o To organise meetings and ensure data capture is obtained from every client.

o To work closely with Operations to ensure the seamless delivery of guest requirements.

o To deliver our clients with a seamless, professional, knowledgeable and friendly customer service.

o Be the first point of contact with all customers contacting the hotel and spa.

o Transfer calls to the relevant departments.

o Check in / out guests of the hotel

o Book accommodation for customers

The ideal candidate:

o Previous experience in a similar role/establishment is preferred

o Excellent customer service skills are essential

o Full Morritt training will be given

Spa Beauty Therapist – Full and Part-time Vacancies

We have an exciting opportunity within our team for the position of Beauty Therapist on a casual basis.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about beauty and customer service to join our busy team.

Duties will include:

o Carrying out all aspects of beauty therapy including massage, facials and manicures

o Ensuring all guests are provided with professional service and fantastic customer care

o Advising guests on treatments and products

The idea candidate:

o Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

o The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s experience as a beauty therapist however we welcome candidates with different lengths of experience who can demonstrate they have the knowledge and skills we are looking for, along with a passion to learn.
