Burns Cottage was refurbished in 2021 to create a stylish self-catering holiday property, comprising of 5 double rooms sleeping up to 10 guests in luxury. For larger parties we can offer sofa beds, extra beds and cots to increase capacity.
The cottage is fully self-contained with well equipped, brand new kitchens, feature bathrooms and luxury finishes that make this every bit a home from home stay.
The private garden has far reaching views over the fields beyond and is equipped for outdoor dining and garden relaxation with two hot tubs.
During your stay you can take advantage of the facilities offered by the award winning Morritt country house hotel and spa whilst enjoying the privacy of your luxury self contained cottage accommodation.

Located in the quiet hamlet of Greta Bridge in Teesdale, the cottages are perfectly located to enjoy the natural beauty of this region. Close to the historic towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond and on the edge of the North Pennines, Yorkshire and Durham Dales.
There are many excellent cycling and walking routes that begin in the village and take you across country, through pretty villages and quiet lanes.
At the end of a day exploring you can unwind in our hotel spa or enjoy a relaxing evening dining in the Morritt’s restaurant or famous Dickens Bar.
